We had a question from fellow Bigfoot owners, and Instagramers, 1981bigfootcamper about how to open up their vintage Norseman awning. We have our trailer, who is now named Michael, and reality is sinking in. We drove over 20 hours last weekend to pickup this little guy. We knew the roof would need repairs. We didn’t anticipate the window leaks. Now we’re pouring over project plans and timelines. The plan is to fix it all…we just need to figure out how. In the meantime, it’s time to fix the immediate window leaks and plan a trip to Oregon.

Today we head out to drive clear across British Columbia from Vancouver to Fernie to pick up our little Project. Other than a sagging roof it’s supposed to be is great shape for a 33 year trailer. It took us a long time to decide on what we wanted, in the end the vintage trailer won. This post kicks off our Reno project. We have lots of plans, a little know how and a professional or two to help out along the way.
